Born in Russia, Freeda emigrated to Israel after World War II, where she married and began a family. Freeda first worked as a school-teacher; however she never lost sight of her true passion - helping women to become more beautiful. And so, while still living in Israel, Freeda also studied the art of giving facials. When she later moved to New York (in the early 1960’s), Freeda trained to become a hair and wig stylist, and acquired her beautician’s license.

For over twenty years Freeda cut and fashioned wigs, but all the while she longed to manufacture her own line of quality, stylish wigs. In the early 1990’s, Freeda’s dream finally became a reality when she opened her first factory in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. Freeda's brand of wigs soon became world famous for their incomparable quality, extreme comfort, and up-to-the-minute-style.

Freeda now divides her time between the Brooklyn corporate offices and the thriving factory in the Ukraine to ensure efficiency and quality output at both ends. Freeda has always been at the forefront of innovation in wigmaking - constantly striving to create the perfect wig.

Each wig is 100% European hair, handmade through workmanship & skillfully crafted. The lightweight feeling on your head allows you the comfort as your own hair. Fitted with stretch caps, the wig will suit heads of all shapes and sizes, with extreme comfort and quality. Each wig is a most beautiful creation with attention to details such as color, texture and style. These wigs are unique as they are not sold in stores.

While she is always creating new styles, Freeda also constantly works to perfect her line of existing styles in her continuing effort to help all women look and feel more beautiful.
